Step 1. You’ll see the screen below the first time you connect to a Multi-Factor enabled application.  To set up SMS authentication, click Setup for “SMS Authentication”.

 

Step 2. Enter Phone Number for a text-capable device, then press Send Code.

 

Step 3. You’ll receive a text message from Okta with a 6-digit code (typically within 30 seconds).  Enter Code and click Verify.

 

Step 4. Once authentication has succeeded, you’ll be directed back to your original application.
