When receiving emails from an outside source, the subject will include [EXTERNAL] and the body will include a caution alert in red text, as shown below. If you receive an email you weren’t expecting, or appears suspicious, delete the email and avoid clicking any links.

While some external emails may be marketing or bulk, be cautious of phishing emails, an email that appears to be from a legitimate company/sender attempting to retrieve sensitive information. TeamHealth will not send an email requesting personal information, including usernames and passwords.
